They also offer a range of glasses fits. Uvex says that glasses are fitted to the individual and that it offers a fit clinic for larger sites.

* Tested by Bold as Brass, a network for women working in the UK mining industry, energy, highways, rail, construction, heavy industry, engineering and environmental services. The testing involves wearing the PPE for a year and feeding back at set intervals after the first wear and wash.
** Tested by Katherine Evans, mining geologist and founder of Bold as Brass. Katherine’s personal test for garments involves going out on-site and assessing if the PPE fits properly, feels comfortable and if she feels confident using it.
